In November 2002 the Pilotte family lost their mother and grandmother to cancer, and since 2003 the Pilotte family has hosted the Annual Mary O’Brien Memorial 5K for Cancer, known as M.O.M.’s Run, on Mother’s Day in her honor. Mary (Pilotte) O’Brien was a longtime Somerville MA resident and was involved in many local organizations throughout her life dedicating much of her time to helping others.
M.O.M.’s Run took a forced hiatus during the pandemic, but the Pilotte family is partnering with the Somerville Road Runners to bring the run back for Mother’s Day 2024! Prodct founder, Devon, is a member of the Somerville Road Runners.
Not just for moms, but for everyone! All runners, walkers and strollers are all welcome on the course.
All race proceeds raised by M.O.M.’s Run benefit the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, widely recognized as one of the largest and most successful programs of its kind.
When you run, roll, or walk an event with us at Prodct, we make additional contributions to the event’s charity, thereby increasing the positive impact your registration can have. Sometimes we even have Prodct swag!
