ABOUT KYTOPEN
Kytopen’s Flowfect® technology combines continuous fluid flow with electric fields for high efficiency delivery of transformative cell and gene therapy payloads such as mRNA, DNA, and CRISPR Cas9 RNP to primary cells. By carefully synchronizing the pulse delivery with the fluid flow Kytopen has eliminated the harmful effects of traditional transfection via static electroporation. Their ex vivo cell engineering platform is compatible with primary cells being developed for immuno-oncology and gene editing applications.

While working onsite with the Kytopen team one afternoon, Devon, Christie, and Roberto were chatting with the team about how we were shifting our own Prodct self-image from seeing ourselves as being “infrastructure builders” to a fresh view of our impact as being, first and foremost “people builders.”

OUR KNOWLEDGE IS YOUR KNOWLEDGE
When a COVID-19 surge cancelled an on-site 2-day training course on Product Risk Management we had planned for Kytopen, Prodct got creative. We postponed the trip for a month and spent that time virtually building our Risk Management knowledge into a Kytopen team member, Norman.
Norman’s strong technical background, innate curiosity, and propensity for patient centricity led him to quickly master the fundamentals of, and become an internal advocate for, Risk Management.
When training got rescheduled, Prodct prepared the slides and set the stage… and Norman delivered much of the content to his own team while we helped from the sidelines! Go, Norman, Go!
We are so proud and can’t wait for him to call us up in a couple years to teach us a thing or two in Risk Management from his own experiences.
